Compared with traditional cast-in-place dwellings, one of the characteristics of prefabricated houses is the need to split the components to achieve the purpose of factory production and on-site assembly. This unique construction method makes the size and reinforcement more standard, the amount of wet work on site is reduced, and the amount of labor and materials is greatly reduced. Although the prefabricated building has many advantages, due to the current imperfect specifications of the fabricated structural design, the structural systems, design methods and corresponding production and construction methods adopted in different places are different, and there is no uniform index, so that it exists in the application. Many problems. For example, the deep design of the assembled components is unreasonable, the prefabricated components are far away, the quality accuracy of the products cannot be guaranteed, the disordered stacking on site, and the lack of experience of the installation workers all affect the quality of the houses to a certain extent and hinder the promotion of the assembled houses.

One of the important reasons for the above problems is that the application rate of BIM technology is low. The traditional two-dimensional design method cannot fully consider the manufacturability, transportability, hoistability and installability of components in the component splitting stage. In the whole process of design, production, transportation, construction, operation and maintenance of prefabricated houses, the split design of prefabricated components is the first step, but it is also equivalent to the chain in the whole process of assembly houses. The split design method determines The coordination and operability of the subsequent stages, such as the automatic splitting of the assembled residential structure, will be more effective in the design phase.

In view of the problems caused by the current assembly houses in China, the application of BIM technology to the disassembly and assembly of fabricated houses is extremely urgent. Based on this purpose, this paper combs the process and problems of BIM technology in the research of structural automatic splitting and assembly technology, and combines the advantages of BIM technology with the automatic splitting and assembly of structures, which reflects its application value in practical engineering.
